Let’s talk about the 380mm 400V 2500W Halogen Heaters
We built these lamps for when you need a serious amount of heat in a very small space. We’re talking 2500W of power packed into a 380mm tube. The 400V rating is the secret sauce here. Since most industrial setups already run on three-phase grids, you can just plug these in. No need to waste space or money on those clunky step-down transformers. Why the high voltage? It’s all about keeping things stable. By bumping up the voltage, we can hit that 2500W mark without the current getting out of control. This means your leads won’t overheat and you won’t lose power over long cable runs. Plus, you get shortwave emission. It doesn’t just warm the surface; it punches through materials fast. The build quality Inside, there’s a tungsten filament housed in high-purity quartz glass. It has to be quartz because the pressure inside the halogen cycle is intense. For the ends, we stick to the basics: R7s or SK15 connectors. They provide a tight, honest fit. And trust me, you want that. If the connection is loose, you’ll get an arc that’ll eat your socket for breakfast. Depending on what you’re doing—like PET blowing or curing lines—you might see these with a special coating. That’s just to protect the glass from chemical splashes or to tweak how the heat hits your product. A few things to watch out for These are easy to swap into most shortwave arrays, but be careful. The heat density isbrutal. Since you’re pushing 2500W through a short tube, your reflectors have to be perfect. If they’re off, the heat bounces right back into the housing. Double-check your cooling fans and heat sinks. If you skim here, you’re looking at melted wiring or warped brackets. Also, give your voltage stability a quick check before you flip the switch. It’ll save your filaments from burning out way too early.
