We basically took a tungsten filament, wrapped it in high-purity quartz, and dialed it up to create a short-wave infrared emitter that doesn’t mess around. The power side of things Here’s the deal: the real magic happens in the wattage-to-length ratio. By cramming a lot of power into a small space, we get those surface temperatures high enough to heat things up almost instantly. You can pick the voltage that fits your setup, but just a heads-up—the higher the voltage, the more stress you’re putting on those filaments. And if you try to push too much wattage through a tiny tube without a stable power supply? You’re probably going to burn them out way too soon. Keeping things clear Ever notice how some bulbs get cloudy? We use a halogen cycle to stop that from happening.
