
Let’s talk about the 720mm 1500W Halogen Heater
We built these 720mm quartz tubes to do the heavy lifting. When you’re dealing with industrial curing, you need raw power. At 1500W, these lamps hit that sweet spot—they’re hot enough to flash-dry automotive primers and topcoats quickly, but they won’t fry the surface you’re working on. Why the size and power matter Think of it as creating a concentrated heat zone. Because they’re 720mm long, you can cover a lot of ground in your paint booth without losing that punch needed to get the paint to actually bond and cure. The best part? The heat spreads evenly. You won’t have to deal with those annoying “tiger stripes” or weird patchy spots on your finish. It just looks smooth. The tech inside We use high-purity quartz glass for the outer shell. Why? Because standard glass would just shatter under this kind of thermal shock. With quartz, you can flip the power on and off without worrying about the tube cracking. Then there’s the halogen cycle. It stops the tungsten filament from evaporating and gunking up the inside of the glass. This keeps the tube crystal clear, so the infrared heat actually gets out instead of getting trapped inside. Getting it set up (and a few warnings) These are designed to be simple drop-in replacements. You can wire them into your existing controllers and be up and running in no time. But a heads-up: 1500W is a lot of heat. If your booth’s ventilation is a bit weak, you might find your mounting brackets warping or your electronics getting too hot. Keep an eye on that. Also, check your reflectors. If they’re oxidized or dirty, you’re wasting energy. A dull reflector can kill your heat output by 20% or more. Keep them polished. The result Since these work in the far-infrared spectrum, the heat actually sinks into the paint layer. It doesn’t just scorch the top. You get your cars out of the booth faster, and you don’t have to worry about “solvent pop” ruining a perfect paint job.
