Material & Design

The halogen chemistry keeps the filament stable, so it doesn’t burn out when it’s constantly heating up and cooling down. A reflective coating on the tube focuses all that heat forward. No stray heat to worry about, and it protects the other parts nearby. And that R7s end-cap? It handles the current and holds everything tight, so the lamp stays put, even when the machine is shaking and the temperature is cycling.
